Group Life
CONNECT with one another
God created each of us with the need for connection, with God and one another. We consider participation in a Small Group to be one of the best and most important ways to experience "God's gift of life in Jesus."
Most groups meet during the week in people's homes and some on Sunday mornings during 1st or 3rd services. All groups welcome newcomers and no prior Bible knowledge is necessary. It's in these groups that people experience the joy and the depth of authentic, Christian friendship. From meals to ball games to movies, Small Groups 'do life' together.
You may choose to join a group for several different reasons: either a friend invited you, the location works for you, or even because of special interest or station in life (young-marrieds, empty-nesters). It may take two or three groups before you find the perfect fit. But don't worry, you'll find it! God doesn't want any of us to be left to walk alone. Get connected!
Acts 2:42-47 The Fellowship of the Believers
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
